Hewan yang memiliki sayap berwarna cerah ini, memang terkenal sebagai hewan yang cantik dan anggun. Makanya, banyak kepercayaan menganggap merak sebagai simbol kecantikan, kesetiaan, keabadian dan juga perdamaian.
